The right lane is not so bad....
I'm moving at my own pace.

Galatians 6:9 “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap if we do not give up.”
Life comes at us fast. Everything around us moves whether we are ready or not. We allow quick decisions to be our drivers and immediate responses to determine lifelong moves. Life in the fast lane can cause us to miss out on important people, rare occasions, and even pivotal points of change. Are we just going through the motions? Do we really understand what is happening around us or are we allowing time to be our gauge for growth?
While some things require us to be quick, on our toes with head on a swivel, others require us to relish in the beauty of change, lateral moves, and slow progress. Just because some things are slow, doesn’t mean they aren’t on time or that they are stagnant. Take the time to see where God is taking you and where He’s brought you from. Admire the scenery of your journey. Slow down. Don’t worry about the person next to you who seems to be speeding through life. God is moving differently in their lane. Worry about your lane. Enjoy life in the right lane. Slow and steady will still get you there. After all, most exits for destinations are on the right side anyway!
God knows what He’s doing. Don’t let the fast pace of the left lane entice you to move faster than you need to go. Let God determine your lane, your journey, and most importantly your time.
Pass me on the left if you like because the right lane is not so bad.
