God Gets the Glory
He knows your name.
The month of May has been declared the start of a season of preparation. A lot of us are feeling the need to get ready for some event in our life. We are making conscious decisions to be productive and because of that, increase is coming. With all the decisions being made, moves happening, and preparation for what’s to come, don’t lose sight of the why. We are preparing for the greatest season of or life so far, but it’s all for the Glory of God. Everything we do is for His name to be great throughout the nations.
It is so easy to get caught up in the need to be great; the need for our name to be known. While recognition is comforting, understand that God gets the Glory. Whatever God has in store for us and is manifesting right now, is to show the world who He is and what He has done in our lives. People may know our names, but they may not know how we are making it through life, how we are being blessed, WHO is leading us through it all.
God knows what we are doing. He is orchestrating it all. He sees the work we are putting in and He will honor that work. He will put us up in high places. He still gets the glory. God will elevate us, give us new positions, new territory, new businesses, growth, and so much more. He still gets the glory. We are preparing for never-before-seen events in our life. God still gets the glory. It’s not about us or our name being famous throughout the world. It’s about God’s name being known throughout the nations.
In this season of preparation remember one of the steps to preparation: Give God Praise for who He is, what He has done, and what He is going to do. Don’t forget to recognize the only one worthy of Praise and Glory. Lift up the name of Jesus. Let God be glorified. His name will get the Glory.
Don’t worry. When you glorify God, He is mentioning your name in the right places. He knows your name.
